On the #63
Hey, Hello, Hi ππ»
My head is briefly out of the moving boxes, and back into the list data: early 2026 information shows over 80 changes across more than 60 funders, including:
π Albert Hunt Trust, who stopped accepting new funding applications from 1st February 2026, ahead of its planned closure in 2029.
π MSE Charity, whose postβrestructure rounds have become progressively shorter: the intended 19 Juneβ31 July 2024 round closed early on 12 July; the winter 2025 round ran 13β31 January (15 days); the summer 2025 round ran 2β10 July (7 days); and the winter 2026 round is 19β26 January (6 working days).
π The Pixel Fund, who have temporarily closed to new applications due to oversubscription, repeating a pattern seen last year.
π Arts Council England, who have announced that applications to some rolling programmes will pause or change between 26 February and 1 April 2026, as they transition from several temporary application systems to a single, updated system (likely Grantium revival?!)
πThe National Lottery Community Fund #iwill Fund, Climate Action Fund (Shared Future) and Million Hours have, because of experiencing high demand, longer processing times than their published timescales. Especially frustrating as the Million Hours Fund was short deadline and closed early with extremely stringent expenditure deadlines for organisations who might be successful.
It might still be winter (although it is getting more Spring like!) but the funding world is anything but sleepy.
How has your year started?
